The Kaleidoscope Plus Group was awarded a special certificate due to support offered by the organisation to Black Country Women’s Aid during their 2016 Christmas Appeal.
Black Country Women’s Aid (formerly known as Sandwell Women’s Aid) supports people affected by domestic abuse, sexual violence, exploitation and human trafficking in the Black Country.
They offer refuge, community support and counselling as well as sensitive and holistic support services which each year help thousands of victims of abuse to escape from violence, cope with trauma and rebuild their lives.
Our Support Services Manager, Mary Hannibal led the Christmas Appeal at The Kaleidoscope Plus Group and was glad it helped make a difference.
She said: “We’re delighted to hear our donation of gifts helped Black Country Women’s Aid make Christmas an enjoyable time for several women and children across the Black Country who are rebuilding their lives after domestic abuse and human trafficking.
“Christmas can be a difficult time for many, so it is nice to know that our contribution of various gifts has helped those in need.”
