The Kaleidoscope Plus Group have been awarded a certificate of appreciation from Black Country Women’s Aid due to the kind donation of presents and toiletries for women and children in refuge during the Christmas period.
Black Country Women’s Aid (formerly known as Sandwell Women’s Aid) supports over 9,000 people every year affected by domestic abuse, sexual violence, exploitation and human trafficking in the Black Country.
They offer refuge, community support and counselling as well as sensitive and holistic support services which each year help thousands of victims of abuse to escape from violence, cope with trauma and rebuild their lives.
Black Country Women’s Aid Fundraising Officer, Deborah Slater was thankful for the support offered by The Kaleidoscope Plus Group.
She said: “On behalf of all the women and children living in Black Country Women’s Aid refuges, we would like to thank you and your staff for your donations.
“Knowing that people care means a lot to the women and children and helps them to get back on their feet.
“We believe that no-one should have to live in fear of violence and abuse and we’re glad that you do too.”
