The Kaleidoscope Plus Group took part in the Birmingham Color Run 2015 on Saturday 15th August and successfully raised £698.99 for the charity.

The Birmingham Color Run, also known as the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”, is a unique colour race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, individuality, and giving back to the community.

Chief Executive, Monica Shafaq, Health and Wellbeing Business Development Manager, Rachael Thompson, Wellbeing Worker, Heidi Dowd, Director of Operations, Claire Dale and Wellbeing Plus Team Leader, Dave Pickard all participated in the Color Run as part of The Kaleidoscope Plus Group team.

Claire Dale, who was part of team KPG (The Kaleidoscope Plus Group) was happy to have raised such a significant amount of money for the charity.

She said: “It was a great occasion and what made it better was the fact we were raising money for The Kaleidoscope Plus Group whilst having lots of fun at the same time!”

Dave Pickard, who was also one of the runners for The Kaleidoscope Plus Group at the Birmingham Color Run, was glad about how the fundraising day turned out as it allowed him to bond with other staff who work within the organisation.

He said: “The Color Run has given me the chance to get to know some of my other colleagues better, who I don’t always work with on a daily basis at The Kaleidoscope Plus Group.”

The Kaleidoscope Plus Group would like to thank all its runners who helped raise money for charity and everyone who donated.
