Our residential care service, Nicholl Grange has successfully moved two residents to independent living in the last month.
Located in West Bromwich, Nicholl Grange is a 14 bed registered care home for people with mental ill health. The homes emphasis is on reablement, recovery and independence and it provides 24-hour staffing to help residents live comfortable and fulfilling lives. The home consists of a 10 bedded main unit with 4 separate self-contained flats next door and a large and pleasant shared garden area to the rear.
One of the individuals who have moved on from Nicholl Grange has gone fully independent with the support of our staff providing a good neighbour service and the other has moved onto a supported accommodation flat.
Care Services Manager, Vicki Fox is pleased about the continual progress at Nicholl Grange and has the up most confidence it will continue.
She said: “These moves are evidence of how effectively we have worked with residents to reduce dependency on care and support and encourage independence, especially with people who have never experienced it.
