Last week, service users from our Community Wellbeing Service in Sandwell headed up to Lewisham Park in Smethwick to enjoy the Community Wellbeing Summer Sports Day.
The weather wasn’t the best but nobody let it dampen their spirits or ruin their fun.
Competition was fierce but all the service users more than held their own whilst enjoying many of the variety of fun and competitive games on offer from Rounders to the classic Egg and Spoon Race.
Community Wellbeing Services Team Leader, Heather Lomax was very proud of all the service users who took part and is glad they all had a great time.
She said: “All of our service users managed to get plenty of exercise whilst having lots of fun which is fantastic for their health and wellbeing.
“It was an excellent day out for everyone and I can’t wait for the next Wellbeing Summer Sports Day!”
The Community Wellbeing Plus Service is available across Sandwell and offers a variety of free groups and activities to boost mood, enhance health, wellbeing and improve your social network.
