The service includes:

“The people here at The Kaleidoscope Plus Group lift your mood and wellbeing and make you feel so good about yourself.”

Link with the people around you…

It is important to connect with people around you whether this be family members, friends, colleagues or neighbours, at home, work, school or in your local community.

Think of these connections as the cornerstones of your life and invest time in developing these relationships.

Building these links will support and enrich you each and every day which will only make you feel better in yourself.

Exercising makes you feel good…

Go for a walk or run. Step outside and appreciate the outdoors. Cycle around your local park.

Have a go at a sport. Do some gardening. Have a dance to your favourite music.

Just remember exercising makes you feel good at the same time keeps you healthy.

Most importantly, discover a physical activity you enjoy and that suits your level of mobility and fitness.

Be aware of the world around you and reflect on your experiences…

It’s a good thing to be curious.

Savour every moment in life, whether it’s just something simple like when you are walking to work, eating your lunch or just talking to your friends and family.

Be aware of the world and surroundings.

Take notice of how you are feeling.

Reflecting on your experiences will only help you appreciate what matters to you in life.

Try something new or rediscover an old interest.

Try something new as it stimulates the mind and can help us find hidden talents we may not have known we had.

Rediscovering an old interest is never bad as it can bring back happy memories.

Learning to play an instrument or how to cook can be satisfying and rewarding.

Set a challenge you will enjoy achieving.

Learning new things may build your confidence and will hopefully be enriching and fun.

Give something back.

Do something nice for a friend, family member or even a stranger without expecting anything in return.

Thank somebody who has helped you in the past to show them you are grateful.

Volunteer your time to support your community.

Seeing yourself, and your happiness, linked to the wider community can be incredibly rewarding and creates connections with the people around you.
