Duncan Jones spent 26 years as a full-time journalist with the BBC. As a sports reporter, he covered Olympic Games and World Cups and continues to work as a freelance journalist.
Duncan spent 10 years as a Samaritans volunteer and has been volunteering for Alzheimer’s Society since 2012, becoming a trustee of the charity in 2017. As well as sitting on the main board, Duncan helped to launch Sport United Against Dementia, a campaign designed to bring together the governing bodies of major sports to support those affected by the disease.
Duncan’s family roots are in West Bromwich – his father’s family grew up in Edward Street in the town, a stone’s throw from the Kaleidoscope Plus Group’s office.
