27th Apr – Shakespeare Half Marathon

This flat and fast course features a single lap for the half marathon and two laps for the full marathon. Most of the race takes place on closed roads around the town, while the remaining portion follows the Stratford Greenway footpath, a firm, compact surface perfect for setting personal bests.

Starting in the town center, the route passes the racecourse, heads towards Luddington and Welford-on-Avon, and then joins the Stratford Greenway to return to Stratford-upon-Avon. The half marathon finishes at the Recreation Ground. The full marathon includes an extended second loop, passing through Long Marston before returning to the Recreation Ground for the finish.
