The Kaleidoscope Plus Group Charity Gala Ball
June 18 @ 12:30 am - November 15 @ 5:00 pm
The Kaleidoscope Plus Group’s Annual Gala Ball is back and will take place on Thursday 15 November at the spectacular venue of the iconic Birmingham Library.
This exciting event, which is being held in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, will be a special night of fun, laughter and celebration, featuring entertainment from top British comedian Gary Delaney.
This year the Gall Ball will be focusing on raising much-needed funds to launch our National Suicide Text Line Prevention Service, and we need your help. With this in mind, we have a small number of opportunities for businesses to expose their brand, services and products before, during and after the Gala Ball, which will all contribute towards the launch of this service. We have a range of options to suit varying budgets.
All proceeds from the event will be going towards The Kaleidoscope Plus Group’s National Suicide Text Line Prevention Service.

WHERE WILL YOUR MONEY GO?
Your funds and valued investment will enable us to launch and support a National Suicide Text Prevention Line Service.
- Suicide is a growing and devastating problem. It doesn’t discriminate, it happens to men, women and children of all ages, all backgrounds, all religions, all races.
- 15 people die in the UK due to suicide every day.
- More men under the age of 45 die as a result of suicide than road traffic accidents, HIV and assaults combined.
We know there is a great and growing demand for support at the point of need, and our service will offer specialist help when it’s needed and can make the most impact.
Sadly, there is no available funding for this service currently, which is why we need the support and investment
of responsible businesses and organisations who can help us to help those in crisis.
FUNDING WOULD BE USED TO:
- Purchase the necessary software
- Pay for a service co-ordinator and a text service operator who will lead in the management and co-ordination
of the text service
