The Kaleidoscope Plus Group’s service user involvement strategy, People In Mind (PIM) have had great success with the Charity Shop in the past few months.
Donations to the PIM Charity Shop are not only helping with fundraising, but are massively helping support service users at The Kaleidoscope Plus Group.
Two of our service users, who were both in a crisis recently due to being rehoused and having limited funds were successfully supplied with crisis boxes which include key essentials such as cutlery, bedding and other essential kitchen appliances.
Community Engagement and Fundraising Coordinator, Kirstie Barnes is thankful the Charity Shop is able to give back and help people who need it most.
She said: It’s great that our Charity Shop is able to help service users when they are in desperate need of everyday things we all take for granted.
“I must say a huge thank to everyone who has donated to the Charity Shop as without your generosity, we would not be able to help our service users in this way.”
