The Kaleidoscope Plus Group alongside volunteers from leading law firm, Irwin Mitchell were at Tesco, West Bromwich on Friday 20th August promoting the Sandwell Community Offer.
The Community Offer is for people 65 and over living in West Bromwich Central, Greets Green, Lyng, Hateley Heath, Grove Vale and Charlemont.
The service involves voluntary and community organisations working together to offer people a range of low-level support, in their own community, with the aim of reducing demand on acute health and social care services.
Community Offer Volunteer Facilitator, Michael Sutton believes this a great way to reach new people with the Sandwell Community Offer.
He said: “This is a fantastic way to really push our service to the elderly community.
“With the recent extension of our service to Hateley Heath, Charlemont and Grove Vale, what better way to promote the Community Offer than at Tesco which is one of the largest and busiest supermarkets in West Bromwich.”
