Our service users from the Community Wellbeing Service visited Dudley Zoological Gardens as part of the Wellbeing at the Weekend service we introduced back in 2015.
Dudley Zoo hosts over 100 different animals from mammals and reptiles, to birds and amphibians.
Set around an 11th century castle, Dudley Zoo is sited on a 40-acre wooded hillside and is home to the world’s largest single collection of Tecton buildings with the only vintage chairlift in the country.
The zoo trip was organised by Community Wellbeing Worker, Rebecca Clark as a way to reward service users and increase their wellbeing.
She said: “All the service users who came along had a smashing time.
“We got to meet all the wonderful animals and I hope we can return in the future.”
