Health For Living and our service user involvement group, People In Mind visited Llandudno, treating service users and volunteers to an unforgettable day-break to remember.
Llandudno is a seaside resort, town and community in the Conwy County Borough of Wales and is located on the Creuddyn peninsula, which protrudes into the Irish Sea.
Llandudno is the largest seaside resort in Wales and has an estimated population of 20,700 people.
The Llandudno day trip, organised by Community Wellbeing’s Sudip Virk and Health For Living’s Lee Love and Debbie Elwell included a visit to Llandudno Bay, Pier and the North Shore and was topped off with traditional Welsh fish and chips for all to enjoy.
Sudip was initially apprehensive about the trip to North Wales but when he heard about the visit to Llandudno he couldn’t pass up the opportunity.
He said: “The original plan was to go to Rhyl however after hearing about how amazing Llandudno was we couldn’t resist.
“We weren’t disappointed either, with the Llandudno Pier offering a variety of arcades and games and the trip being capped off with beautiful summer weather.”
