If you enjoy being outdoors and want to help protect nature then join Community Wellbeing on this relaxing nature walk at Saltwells which is one of the UK’s largest urban nature reserves.
The Kaleidoscope Plus Group are working together with the Woodland Trust to help spot new signs of the seasons such as birds, flowers and insects.
Community Wellbeing’s Gavin Jefferies will be supporting the walk.
He said: “You don’t need to know anything about wildlife as we’ll show you what we are looking out for on the walk.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to de-stress, enjoy being around nature and help the environment at the same time!”
The walk will last for around an hour and it is recommended you wear suitable footwear and bring a bottle of water.
Community Wellbeing will also be hosting Picnic and Games at Silver Jubilee Park.
Community Wellbeing Worker Catie Miller is thrilled about having the opportunity to host a wellbeing picnic and participate in lots of fun games.
She said: “We will be playing lots of games from Frisbee to Rounder’s.
“Everybody is welcome to join in or if they would prefer can just relax, enjoy the activities and tuck into the picnic treats.”
