The Kaleidoscope Plus Group has selected Birmingham Children’s Hospital as their charity of the year for 2017.
Staff were asked to suggest a charity they would like to raise funds for and after a numerous nominations, the most popular choice was Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Opening its doors in 1862, Birmingham Children’s Hospital offer expert care to over 90,000 children and young people from across the country every year. They provide the highest quality treatment and care to young patients, supporting their loved ones whilst advancing medical innovation.
Our Chief Executive believes the children’s hospital was an excellent choice and is hopeful the fundraising events will raise lots of money.
She said: “Although the children’s hospital isn’t a charity as such, they’re an incredible and worthy cause to donate to.
“The Hospital support children and young people with life-changing specialist services, including the treatment of complex heart conditions, chronic liver and kidney disease, cancer, serious burns, epilepsy, neurology and cystic fibrosis.
“With all the fundraising events we have planned throughout 2017, I’m sure we will raise significant amount money which will truly benefit the children.”
