Kaleidoscope Plus Group Fundraising dept are looking for resourceful, committed, and diligent volunteer researchers who can help office-based colleagues with research for community and corporate fundraising opportunities. You will be conducting home-based, remote research as directed by the head of fundraising, with the occasional visit to Head office located at 321 High street, West Bromwich West Midlands.

Requirements: You will need to be a motivated self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision (though support will always be available from the head of fundraising and colleagues), someone who can adeptly research, record and cite information correctly, someone who has thorough attention to detail, and you must be passionate about making a positive impact on communities. This position would be ideal for those qualified to a graduate or post-graduate level, and you will need to report in clear, accessible English. You will Demonstrable IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, have Strong written, verbal, and oral communication skills, be a team player and have clearly evidenced organisational skills, with good attention to detail. You will demonstrate a proactive approach to managing own workload and working to dead lines and possess good research and information management skills. You will possess an understanding of the charity sector and/or fundraising, have an interest in social care and disability related issues and be Flexible in working practices and working hours.

Responsibilities: You will be liaising with services within KPG, building a clear awareness and understanding of the services provided by the organisation. You will need to maintain good working relationships with colleagues at all levels whilst promoting good employee relations and communications. You will support effective internal communication systems throughout the organisation to engender an organisational culture of communication, openness, and co-operation. You will support and promote the rights, dignity, safety, and individual choices of each customer whilst undertaking any other duties appropriate to the role.
