M6 Toll Donate To KPGs Alfresco Project

Midland Expressway Ltd (operators of the M6 toll) is lending its support to a leading mental health charity with a donation of £1,500.

The money has been donated to The Kaleidoscope Plus Group to support the charity’s ‘Alfresco Project’ which aims to buy new furniture for an outdoor space at its Nicholl Grange Care Home. The project will provide a tranquil space for residents helping to improve their mental health.

Gary Wheway, Head of Business Development and Fundraising said: “We would like to thank M6 Toll for their fantastic donation and we look forward to using the funds to complete our Alfresco Project.”

Jo Brett, Midland Expressway Ltd Social Squad member added: “As an organisation we feel it’s important to recognise Stress Awareness Month and everything it aims to highlight. Through our in the community scheme, we wanted to support a local charity that supports mental health and wellbeing and highlight its importance.

“The Kaleidoscope Plus Group is dedicated to ensuring no one falls through the gaps, supporting national mental health services with diverse, inclusive and high-quality support.”

Midland Expressway Ltd’s donation forms part of a wider initiative to support local schools and community projects.
